First Quarter in Capricorn
The Moon reaches First Quarter earlier today, at 2 degrees of Capricorn.
WHY IT HAPPENS
Exact at 20:43 UTC. Half lit, and along the dividing line the craters throw their longest shadows. Better in binoculars than a full moon.
WHAT IT MEANS
In astrology, a half-lit Moon in Capricorn reads as the halfway point of a plan. Before bed, write down the one step left undone.
