First Quarter in Sagittarius

The Moon reaches First Quarter later today, at 20 degrees of Sagittarius.

WHY IT HAPPENS

Exact at 20:43 UTC. Half lit, and along the dividing line the craters throw their longest shadows. Better in binoculars than a full moon.

WHAT IT MEANS

In astrology, First Quarter is read as the halfway test of a plan. Before bed, write the one part you keep avoiding.

♐ Sagittarius · conjunctionThis half-lit Moon sits in your own sign; say aloud the half of your plan still unfinished.♊ Gemini · oppositionSeen from straight across, tonight shows what you've handed to someone else; reread your unsent draft once.♍ Virgo · squareSquares push, so the day's loose ends press now: pick the smallest undone chore and finish it.
